Photo essay: Crater Lake & the Oregon Coast

Here are some pictures from a recent week long vacation to Crater Lake National Park and the middle/upper Oregon coast.  Absolutely beautiful area and one of my favorite places in the world.

*A special thanks to Aaron and Brendon of Photog Adventures for your advice on getting a super early start to the day to get a good Milky Way photo.

All these pictures were shot with either my iPhone 6S, Sony RX1, or Ricoh GR.  Enjoy!

My luggage contents for this short week-long trip. The red fleece & hiking shoes are items I usually don’t need on most trips but were necessary for this one.

My usual one backpack I bring along containing all the contents of the previous photo.
